Quinta de D. Carlos has excellent conditions for growing quality grapes, its vineyards benefitting from the diverse exposure to various thermal amplitudes throughout the year, resulting from the combined Atlantic and Continental influence.

Its intense coloured, aromatic wines, have a long and lingering aftertaste. Our wines have an intensity and personality of their own, ideal to accompany both Portuguese traditional meat and fish dishes.

WINE TASTING INCLUDES:

Welcome drink consisting of our Quinta D. Carlos Viognier and Arinto white wines enjoyed in our terrace overlooking the estate’s gardens and vineyards;
Guided tour of the Palace’s noble rooms and Chapel;
Lunch held in the 17th century Palace in the presence of one of the family’s members, served and accompanied by top quality wines (Marquês de Valada and Quinta de D. Carlos);
Walk around the vineyards (optional)
